Ready-Made Garment Export
Exports of garments from Vietnam reached the highest value in July this year when compared with the previous 11 months.
According to the General Statistics Office (GSO), apparel exports reached US $3.27 billion in July, up 6.8 percent as of June 2023.
“Textiles and garments are showing good signs of recovery in many markets and we expect the shipment to reach between $40-41 billion in 2023,” Vu Duc Giang, chairman of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) said.
Exports of garments are the fourth largest export product group from the country.
